Workability - Works moderately well except in harder samples, finishes well, requires pre-boring. 

Uses - Ladders, Tool handles, oars, poles, sports goods, gymnasium equipment, coffins, garden furniture, boat building, vehicles, artificial limbs and other purposes for which a resilient but reasonably light timber is needed.

Look - White to light brown in colour with an indistinct sapwood and shows a strong figure due to prominent growth ring outlines.
